Urge to kill lessened

OK so I feel less like killing the world....probably because I just watched Jo kill the world in Burst Angel and hey watching someone else do it is almost as good as doing it yourself sometimes.

So what's been up here. Tuesday Julie got to town wee! She even brought me a birthday present...our can opener was in trying to die mode last time she was here so she had a new one for us. It's super cool.Anna and I headed out to casa de Lothar oh I don't know maybe around 1:30 or quarter to two. There was food and much rock banding, a brief trip to pick up Pat and more food and rock band though Julie had had to leave for supper elsewhere. We then made a trip to Baker's square and may I just say I truely think I'm in LOVE with the caramel apple a la mode. I forget how good it is between visits but oh so awesome. We then briefly met back up with Julie before taking Anna back home and determined we'd have supper together before she left town. Pat deemed me in charge of all planning. So I figured I'd make the smothered chicken and maybe some bread and we'd see what else we had to throw out there as a side.
Around noonish we met at CNS and headed out for Indian food. (Noonish because I was having a blonde moment and forgot Pat had the car so I didn't ask for a lift or plan the time necessary to walk or take water with me or get a drink first...) AMAZING! Flavorful food that didn't have my throat feeling like it was closing or have me spending the rest of the night in intense pain. Very pleased and contented kitty! I had some errands to run and others did too. I said meal time will be 6 come when you can for hang outs. Patgot off at 3 so I went to pick him up and stopped to pick up one more thing I'd forgotten at the store. When I returned there was a rose waiting for. I have no idea how he got it in the car without me noticing. I have a very sweet but sneaky husband. I was somewhat disappointed when no one arrived until almost 5...when I needed to start cooking. But be fore I started I did get to see the amazing Thank you gift Julie gave Pat. It is one of her drawings a dragon beautifully framed about 20x24. I spent part of today reorganizing the stuff on our walls to make space. I finally got the room to look right. It's got the place of honor over the TV. Absolutely perfect! Then when I needed to call Pat up to get him working on sides while I finished up the main course my phone refused to actually call him so I had to wait for someone to come up and ask them to send him up since I had food on the stove top and in the oven and it was not something I could leave. Supper ended up being a bit late since the sides didn't get started until about 10 minutes before the main dish was ready but that was ok. 2 loaves of bread and all the fries...approximately half a gallon of them...vaporized. Of the 4 lbs of chicken breast I cooked I think maybe a half pound was left...Pat and I split the left overs for lunch today and it was barely enough. We also demolished 2/3 box of peanut butter patties and 1/2 box thin mints. We had a BLAST! In the end after the rest had left, we finished the last 5 epis of deathnote with Anna. All in all a pretty great anniversary...even if as I tried to snuggle up to my husband that night he got majorly distracted trying to get that stupid fly! Lucky for him I started laughing about it rather than being insulted. I got my snuggles once the fly disappeared.

Today I've been really tired. Most likely because of the walk at my fastest still walking pace without fluids in the heat yesterday. I do NOT handle heat well anymore. Put away one load of laundry and started another. Got some online stuff taken care of. Made out a grocery list. [Yup our exciting plans for friday night are to go grocery shopping...I'm sure you're excited for us right...right] did some reading and had a kitty sleeping on me for awhile. Got to chat a bit with Jeremy and that was pretty cool. Oh and for those who want to know Pat actually wrote out actual lyrics for the bacon song set to war pigs. I haven't actually read them but if you wish to see them ask him about them or thar can forward you a copy. I thought of this because Jeremy has a copy now for it's euro debut. He awarded Pat 2 points for it...and he'd only awarded 1 point this year before that so that should give some of you at least an idea about the lyrics. Oh and took a loaf of bread to my aunt.

OK here's the story see if you understand this. A week ago monday we took my aunt to the hospital for a blood test. She gave us $10 and we were confused cause she's family in town having trouble making ends meet and can't drive herself actually sold her car. Extra money is always nice but seriously it's like what 5 miles maybe for us to go get her, take her to the hospital and then take her home. So she said well then buy me a loaf of bread then sometime...I mean don't buy me that much bread all at once but get me some bread. We figured she didn't actually need bread then but that next time we came over for something we should bring one that she has people getting groceries for her and stuff so if she needs it they can get it if we don't get back right away. Then on Monday night she called for some other reason and asked about the bread but not in a way which said she needed it just wanting to let me know would actually like us to buy bread she wasn't joking. I said we were planning to get it and bring it next time we saw her and she seemed fine with that. Tonight she called saying she was totally out of bread. So we ran out and got her a loaf of bread. And discovered a pop sale at Jewel...All yee who love the vernors it is currently 5 for 10. Actually all the pop at Jewel in 12 packs are 5 for $10. So yeah go get pop if you need it. Sale ends on the 2nd.

Well I think I will head to bed now...
